River Services, Inc. was founded by John J. Lyons,
Sr. in 1977. Starting as a ship chandlery and small
family business, Mr. Lyons core values of quality
craftsmanship,
attention to detail and customer satisfaction has
allowed the company to grow successfully over the past
33 years. Originally providing life raft recertification
for the marine industry (USCG #540), the company
expanded into the aviation sector as an FAA Repair
Station (AI5R727M). As our customer base grew, we
expanded our products and services to satisfy their
needs. This led to the creation of River Supply, Inc. in
1994 which specializes exclusively as a ship chandlery
and boating supply store. In 2005, River Services, Inc.
constructed a new state-of-the-art facility adjacent to
their former location in Thunderbolt, Georgia which
specializes in aviation and
marine
life rafts, life vests, emergency electronics and fire
safety equipment.
We provide service on marine and aviation
life rafts, life vests, EPIRB/ELTs, rescue boats,
